Halloweenie Roast
A few members got together on October 25th to roast some weenies, enjoy some hot chocolate and breathe in some smoke from a warm, toasty fire. Here's some pix.
Christmas Party
On Saturday evening, December 6th the Club gathered in Carrollton to enjoy the first White Hall Drag-O-Way Christmas Party in over thirty years. Nearly every member and spouse was in attendance and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the company of good friends. We even had a little trivia contest and the ultimate winner was Barney Taylor. The Grand Prize was a choice of a no expense paid, non-inclusive stay at the beautiful Penguin Beach Resort in International Falls, Minnesota, OR a $4 clock from WalMart. Barney wisely chose the clock! Great job Mr. T.
Oh, and the ladies all got to take home a Poinsetta, courtesy of an 'anonymous' donor. (We know who you are!)
Even Birthdays are 'Special Events'
We celebrated three January 23rd Birthdays on Saturday the 24th. Joel Cumby (son of one of our members), his lady Laura Belchik and our Club President Paul Fansler all share a birthdate, and an 'Appropriate' Birthday cake. (They're not holding hands. They're slicing the cake!)
Congrats to all three.
