And another significant loss at the end of 2009. Mr. George Ray of Paragould, Arkansas, the owner/operator of George Ray's Wildcat Drag Strip passed away December 5th at the age of 85.
Joe Elmore featured George and his Drag Strip on "Horsepower TV" a couple of years back and Bret Kepner wrote this about George. Godspeed Mr. George Ray. Thank You for your legacy.
